Traffic safety has been one of the top priorities of car manufacturers in designing and producing their mass market vehicles. Safety before an accident is composed of features which allow drivers to have total control of a vehicle to avoid accidents at all costs. This also reduces braking distance by allowing drivers to brake heavily without risking wheel lockup.

Vehicles equipped with ABS are the Chevy Aveo, Cobalt, Corvette, Impala, Malibu/Malibu Maxx and the Monte Carlo for cars.
